Alogiac Avolition Biography: Alogiac Avolition was the original title applied to Bastard Child. All audio recordings done for the Alogiac Avolition release(s) were eventually applied to Bastard Child. Aud played multiple successful live shows, drawing a crowd of 50-100 people each time. During live shows performance artists were known to self-mutilate or destroy property. "Aud bibles" were created, distributed, and ruined. Animal guts were soaked in fake blood and thrown at the audience. While multiple recording sessions were held, only one "produced" track was created. This track was titled Corrective Resonance. This track was assimilated by Flat Affect when it became apparent that a studio album would not be completed. The members would gather weekly to practice and play noise. An audience of friends and peers began to grow, and the weekly sessions became more of a live show event than a practice session. One such peer stated that the project "sounds better through walls." This became the running motto for the unnamed noise project. Artist Flat Affect titled the band Alogiac Avolition and released a 2 minute demo CD, in hopes to encourage motivation to record and produce material for release. This project ultimately failed, but not before a single, successful recording session in which enough audio was recorded to feul this project's releases for many years to come. Flat Affect has made a commitment to occasionally re-visit this noise project and re-create the experience. The perameters for this commitment are that the same audio source must be used each time. Flat Affect was not yet an artist, but this call demanded attention. Nobody_Important was formed, and a 5 second segment, titled "voicetap" was created. This is the only material ever created under this pseudonymn. All of Project_Name's tracks were created using Windows Recorder. None of Project_Name's tracks were actually released as Project_Name. However, all material recorded by Project_Name has been released by Flat Affect. This gets confusing, but, Flat Affect- Untitled is a compilation of all tracks recorded by Project_Name. Also, Flat Affect's Alogia is a compressed version of every track and theme created by Project_Name. The tracks were compiled and mixed from the source disk in 2007 by Flat Affect and The Amethyst Deception, and were meant to be released on a split cassette with local band, Hypnox. This release never came to fruition. The track titles have, over the years, become confused. The only appropriate track title is "Intro." The other 3 titles are actually titles from the Bastard Child / Black Earth: Confidential - Split.
